Robocalls are the worst, and you should be able to sue them. Technically.

If you are on the DO NOT CALL list and you still receive phone calls from telemarketers, scammers and robocallers, you are able to sue them. But do you? No, you don't. Because it's a pain in the ass.

Thanks to a company called DoNotPay, they'll trick the robocaller and sue them for you. If you sign up they will give you a burner credit card. The next time you get an unsolicited call, you give them the burner credit card's numbers. When the robocaller goes to charge the credit card, DoNotPay is able to track who is behind the call and trying to use the card.

At that point, DoNotPay will instantly sue the robocaller for $3000 per call on your behalf under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act.

There is one big downside to this though and that is this only works on companies inside the US. So if you are getting a robocall from Russia, Nigeria, Mexico, or anywhere outside the US, the lawsuit won't happen.
