Shim and I fall down the rabbit hole of television and nostalgia. Shim is wondering what is new to television now that our kids will find nostalgia in later on?

I take a different approach because we have access to so much entertainment now. I can hop on YouTube and show my kid episodes of He-Man or The Garfield Christmas Special and that gives her an idea of what I enjoyed when I was a kid. That wasn't as easily available for my parents when I was a kid.

But there is a lot of new content happening now, it just isn't quite the same because we don't really have appointment television anymore. We get full season dumps by Netflix, or we record our shows on DVR and watch it when it fits our schedule. The closest that I have on my schedule is The Mandalorian. I would make it a point to watch that whenever a new episode would drop.
