If you are in need of food in the Concho Valley, there will be open food distribution happening Wednesday, June 24th. One thing to make note of is this is open to everyone regardless of income. Maybe you don't need the food but know someone who does that can't make it out to the distribution. You are more than welcome to stop by and pick up the food. Here are the pertinent details.

  • What - Public food distribution from Concho Valley Regional Food Bank
  • When - Wednesday, June 24th from 5pm to 7pm
  • Where - Concho Valley Regional Food Bank parking lot
    • 1313 S. Hill St, San Angelo
  • Contact - (325) 655-3231

No ID or registration is required for this pickup. It's completely open to the public. Again, if you don't necessarily need the food, you are being encouraged to help out someone you may know that is homebound or without transportation.

If you would like to make a donation, that is always more than welcome. You can head on over to the Concho Valley Regional Food Bank's website by CLICKING HERE.

One thing to remember when you're donating. Anything helps. Canned foods and non-perishable items are always more than welcome. But money does go a long way. Just a few dollars buys a whole lot of food for families in need. You don't need to make a $100 donation, but I'm not going to talk you out of that if you want to. Seriously, just a few dollars helps more than you would think. Do a good deed. Make a donation today.
