Tortillapocalpyse is happening right now! Taco Bell has confirmed that there is a tortilla shortage affecting stores. So....should we bring our own?

It's safe to say people love Taco Bell. An entire pop-up hotel in Palm Springs dedicated to the Mexican fast food joint sold out in only 2 minutes! If you're a diehard fan of Taco Bell, you better sit down- this news may ruin your week. According to Fox News, Taco Bell has confirmed that restaurants are suffering from a "tortilla shortage." The company said they are working diligently to replenish their stock and said the shortage is due to an issue with the supplier. The Taco Bell warehouses are specifically in short supply of the 10-inch tortillas used for burritos, quesadillas, grillers, and more.

While the company says the shortage is only affecting "some" restaurants, online there is talk that the shortage is much more widespread. Redditors who say they work for the fast food chain say its much worse than the company is making it seem. One user said Taco Bell will have less than half their usual stock of the wraps for the first two weeks of July. The user also said there was an internal email from corporate that tortilla supplies will hopefully be back to normal by the end of the month.

Nationwide, there are about 5,600 Taco Bell restaurants and Texas has the 2nd highest number of restaurants in the country. California comes in at number one with 964, while Texas is a distant second at 590. New Mexico comes in far lower on the list at number 36th.
