As we know, gas prices has been rising throughout the whole United States & unfortunately that includes us here in in the state of Texas & El Paso. But how do the prices compare throughout the state of Texas & where does El Paso sit?

Gas prices actually fluctuate but a good source to track gas prices is through AAA Gas Prices. Their website is constantly updating & you can track prices in any state in the US. And with the holidays are coming up, I figured this is a great chance to see where the best places would be for filling up, if you're planning on a road trip.

Compared to the rest of the States, Texas is on the lower end of the gas pricing average. Currently we sit at being the 2nd lowest priced state (Oklahoma is #1 at $3.02). If you want to see the entire AAA map, you can find it HERE.

And here's even more news: If you're looking WHERE to find the cheapest gas prices in El Paso, a great site to track prices is through Gas Buddy, where users can actually post the current prices online throughout the El Paso County.

One last note: on the AAA website, they have a Gas Cost Calculator: where you can determine just how much you'll likely to spend based on where you're traveling & what you're driving.

So next time you're planning on a road trip & you need to stop somewhere, now you know where to go & how much you're gonna need in order to fill 'er up.
