The city of El Paso is under a 'Stay Home, Work Safe' Order. To some it up simply, which probably isn't the best thing to do, it means only leave your house for essential things. Food, gas, and work. And that's only if your job is considered essential. Get the whole order by CLICKING HERE.

But what about exercising? I go for a run 5 to 6 times a week. So I scoured the release about the 'Stay Home, Work Safe' Order, and here is what I found. Yes, you can go for a run. It was a bit confusing at the beginning though. It first made it seem like you couldn't

SECTION 4. Travel. All travel, including but not limited to, travel on foot, bicycle, scooter, motorcycle, automobile, or public transit, except for purposes of Essential Travel, performing Essential Activities or going to work in an Essential Business, Government Service, or Critical Infrastructure.

That makes it seem like you can't go out for a run. But, later on in the order, it says this.

For Outdoor Activity. To engage in outdoor activity, such as, by way of example and without limitation, biking, walking, hiking, or running provided the individuals comply with Social Distancing Requirements as defined in this Section. Individuals may go to public parks and open outdoor recreation areas, but are discouraged from using playground or outdoor exercise equipment.

So, yes, you can go for a run. Just give some distance.
